Z’s Crack started in Matakana from a pretty simple obsession, making food better. I’ve always loved cooking, mixing flavours, testing things, and making the kind of food people actually want another bite of. What started as mucking around in the kitchen turned into a jar of roasted peanuts, garlic, onion, chilli, secret spices, and extra virgin olive oil. Crunchy, golden, sweet-savoury, and a little bit reckless.

It’s not trying to be fancy. It’s just proper flavour. No seed oils. No preservatives. No weird stuff. Just a loaded peanut chilli crack made to slap on eggs, noodles, BBQs, avo toast, dumplings, meats, salads, and basically anything that needs waking up. Family got into it. Mates got into it. Then the Matakana Farmers Market got into it. Now I’m studying entrepreneurship at Otago and building this crack empire. Born in Matakana, made in Aotearoa, and backed one spoonful at a time.
